public elementary school, is to provide a developmentally appropriate,
meaningful and challenging education for a diverse group of children
in an environment that recognizes, values and responds to their individual
abilities
and needs. We will nurture compassionate, capable and life-long
learners who see themselves as being engaged members of their communities
whose actions can make a positive difference.
Program

of the community as classroom, providing exploration and study
within the community.
The
integration of community service projects into the learning experience.

The study of topics
that are directly relevant to the lives of our students Downtown

allow for exploration, study, and project work within the community.
Students
who come from all quadrants of the district, creating a diverse
